Independence Man Arrested on Warrant & Driving Charge in Holt County

An Independence man was arrested on a driving charge and warrant Wednesday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Michael S. Rogers was arrested on a preliminary charge of not wearing a seat belt.
Troopers report Rogers also had an outstanding probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
He was taken to the Holt County Sheriff’s Office and booked on a 24-hour hold.
