Independence Man Ejected From ATV in Grundy County Crash Wednesday

A Trenton woman and Independence man were injured in a Wednesday evening A-T-V accident in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route O, three miles east of Tindall, when an A-T-V being driven by 45-year-old Independence resident Ralph E. Turley was heading westbound.
Troopers say Turley went off the south side of the road, overturned, and was ejected.
An occupant on the A-T-V, 33-year-old Trenton resident Sarah C. Whitt, was also ejected during the crash.
Turley was taken by Life Flight to Truman Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Whitt refused treatment at the scene.
Troopers say both were not wearing proper safety equipment at the time of the crash.
