Independence Woman Facing a Felony Charge Following Arrest in Caldwell County Saturday

An Independence woman is facing a felony charge following an arrest made in Caldwell County Saturday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that around 1:40 P.M. they arrested 39-year-old Toyia N. Cummings who is now facing a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance, as well as being cited for a misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, and for speeding.
Cummings was taken into custody at the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24 hour hold.
