Initial Appearance Scheduled in Livingston County Sex Crime Case

An initial appearance is set for a man accused of a felony sex crime in Livingston County Court.

Court documents say Xander Mitchell faces a felony charge of first-degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape with a person less than 14 years of age.

Records list that charge from August 6.

A criminal summons was issued for Mitchell earlier this week.

He is due in court October 21 at 9:00 a.m.
