Iowa Driver Arrested After Accident that Left Two Young Children Injured

An accident late Friday afternoon left three Iowa residents injured.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 28-year old Roger Cromwell of Shenandoah was eastbound on US 36 Highway, 2 miles east of Osborn when he drove off the north side of the roadway, struck a crossover and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its top.

Cromwell and a 7 year old female, also from Shenandoah were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. Another 4 year old girl had minor injuries from the accident that took place around 5 pm Friday.

Cromwell was cited on allegations of Felony Driving While Intoxicated, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Careless and Imprudent Driving.
