Iowa Man Facing 11 Charges in Caldwell County Court

An arraignment is set for an Iowa man facing 11 charges in Caldwell County Court.

Court documents say Morning Sun, Iowa resident Ty Matthew Vaughn faces felony charges of two counts of first-degree assault, second-degree assault involving a special victim, chronic driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked or suspended, first-degree property damage, and armed criminal action.

Vaughn also faces misdemeanor charges of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident, fourth-degree assault, second-degree property damage, and operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility.

Records list those charges from December 11.

Vaughn is next due in court February 9 at 9:00 a.m.
