Iowa Man Overturns in U.S. 59 Crash Monday

An Iowa man was injured in an Atchison County crash Monday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 59 North of Route C, three miles west of Westboro, when a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Preston L. Sithling was heading northbound.

Troopers say Sithling crossed the center of the road, struck an electronic message board and two traffic cones, and overturned across U.S. 59.

Sithling suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

Troopers say he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
