Iowa Man Overturns in U.S. 71 Crash Tuesday Night

A College Springs, Iowa man was injured in a Nodaway County crash Tuesday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 71 when a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Bryce J. Giesmann was heading northbound.

Troopers say Giesmann pulled out of a private drive on the west side of U.S. 71, went across both lanes of traffic, struck a ditch on the east side of the road, and overturned.

He suffered minor injuries and was taken to Clarinda Regional for treatment.

Troopers say Giesmann was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
