Iowa Woman Injured in Nodaway County Crash This Morning

A Shenandoah, Iowa woman was injured in an accident this morning in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 71, at Icon Road, when a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Debbie L. Burroughs was heading southbound.

Troopers say an oncoming northbound vehicle failed to yield at a controlled intersection and was struck by Burroughs’ vehicle.

Burroughs was taken to Mosaic Life Care, in Maryville, for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers say Burroughs was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
