Jamesport Woman and Teen Hurt In Crash With Semi

A Jamesport woman and her teenage passenger were both left with minor injuries after a collision with a semi Thursday afternoon in Daviess County.

According to an accident report from the Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Jamesport resident Francesca E. Robb was driving a 2008 Chevy Tahoe westbound on Route 6 in Daviess County at 3:15 P.M. Thursday when she attempted to make a left turn on to Route F. When she attempted that turn her vehicle was hit in the drivers side by a 2014 Freightliner semi tractor.

Robb and her 15-year-old female passenger were both reportedly wearing seat belts at the time but still suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional medical Center for treatment of those inquiries.
