Jermain Included As Recipient Of Inaugural Missouri Farm Bureau Scholarship

The Missouri Farm Bureau has named a Northwest Missouri State University student as a recipient for one of the inaugural Michael P. Voiles Scholarships for Insurance and Agriculture.

Matt Jermain is a first year student at Northwest Missouri State University and is be one of three students who has been selected to receive $1,500 which is renewable for up to three additional years if yearly criteria are met.

The scholarship was created to encourage student to pursue degrees, and subsequent careers, in the insurance and agriculture industries.

Matt Jermain is a Jefferson 2023 graduate and served as Vice President of the student council, a member of the National Honor Society, and was a member of the FFA and Future Business Leaders of America through high school while participating on sports teams.

He is a Mathematics Data Science and Computer Science major.

He plans to seek a career in actuarial science while also staying involved in his family farming operation.
