June General Revenue Report Shows Collections Increased Over Last Year

State Budget Director Dan Haug released the general revenue report for June showing that net general revenue collections increased by 40.2 percent compared to June 2020, from $871 million to $1.22 billion this year.

Individual income tax collected increased 28.3 percent from $6.95 billion last year to $8.92 billion this year.

Sales and use tax collections increased 6.7 percent for the year and 37.3 percent for the month; corporate income and franchise tax collections increased 72.1 percent for the year and 8.7 percent for the month.

Refunds increased 16.6 percent for the year, from $1.28 billion last year to $1.5 billion this year, and decreased 59.7 percent for the month.
