Jury Trial Set for Bethany Man Accused of Child Sex Crimes

BETHANY, MO – A jury trial has been set next year for a Bethany man charged with several felonies alleged to have taken place in 2019 and 2020.

Dustin Fortner was indicted by a grand jury in April on charges of child molestation of a child less than 14 years old; sexual misconduct involving a child less than 15; child abuse and harassment.

The indictment alleges Fortner subjected a child to sexual contact and made inappropriate comments and gestures toward a child. He is also alleged to have shoved a child into a wall, causing physical injury.

Fortner is set for Jury Trial on March 6, 2023.
