A Kansas City man was arrested on drug and driving charges Tuesday night in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Daekwon C. Giles was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of ecstasy, endangering the welfare of a child, speeding, not having valid insurance, not having a valid license, and making unsafe lane changes.

Giles also had an outstanding felony warrant from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on an original charge of vehicle theft.

He was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail and booked on a 24-hour hold.
