Kansas City Man Set For Preliminary Hearing Next Month on 17 Felonies in Caldwell County

A Kansas City, Missouri, man facing 17 felony charges in Caldwell County Court will appear for a preliminary hearing next month.

Court documents say Harold Edwards Jr. faces one charge of first-degree murder, one charge of armed criminal action, three charges of burglary, three charges of second-degree arson, seven charges of possession of child pornography, one charge of abandonment of a corpse, and one charge of tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.

Records list all 17 felonies from May 10.

Edwards Jr.’s bond remains denied.

He will appear for a preliminary hearing on January 31 at 9:00 a.m.
