Two Kansas City residents were injured in a Thursday evening crash in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-35, two miles south of Eagleville, when a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Barbara M. Selvy was heading southbound.
Troopers say Selvy struck an animal in the roadway and came to a controlled stop on the shoulder of I-35.
Selvy and a passenger, 52-year-old Frank A. Montes, were both taken to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment of moderate and minor injuries.
Authorities say all involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
