Kansas Man Arrested For Speeding and Outstanding Warrants in Clinton County

An Overland Park, Kansas man was arrested on outstanding warrants and a driving charge Wednesday night in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Awais Mahmood was arrested on a preliminary charge of speeding.

Mahmood also had three outstanding warrants from Clinton County for failure to appear on charges of exceeding the posted speed limit.

Mahmood was taken to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office to await bond.
