Kansas Man Arrested on Drug and Driving Charges in DeKalb County

A Kansas City, Kansas man was arrested on drug and driving charges Saturday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Horacio Huerta was arrested on preliminary charges of felony driving while intoxicated, felony not having a valid driver’s license, possession of marijuana, and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Troopers say Huerta also had an outstanding warrant from Jackson County for failure to appear.
He was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail and booked on a 24-hour hold.
