Kansas Man Seriously Injured in Holt County Crash

A Shawnee, Kansas man was injured in a Holt County crash early Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, a mile east of Corning, when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Shawn M. Wiseman was heading northbound.

Troopers say Wiseman went off the east side of the road, struck a highway traffic sign, continued north, struck four reflective posts, and overturned.

Wiseman was taken by air medical transport to K.U. Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

Troopers say Wiseman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
