Kidder Resident Injured In Accident Involving Concrete Mixer

A Kidder resident was injured when his vehicle was hit from behind by a concrete mixer Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 61 year old John Hursman of Kidder had slowed to make a turn and the front of a concrete mixer hit the back of his vehicle. 53 year old Jeffery Behen of Trenton was the operator of the concrete mixer. Hursman’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch. The concrete mixer came to a controlled stop.

Hursman received minor injuries from the accident. His vehicle sustained moderate damage.

He was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The accident took place at 7:15 Tuesday morning.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
