King City Board Approves Budget At October Session

King City’s School Board approved the budget for the upcoming year during their meeting held Monday night.

The budget will be a deficit budget since the district is making capital improvements which will mean one time spending. The deficit amount is $1.2 million dollars. The capital improvements will include the construction of two new science rooms and a new surface for the school’s track complex.

King City’s board also approved the hiring of Donna Evanson to a part time junior high math position at the session.
