King City Board Approves Longevity Stipend For Employees

King City’s Board of approved a base salary increase of $500 dollars during their March meeting. The action will put the King City base salary at $33,750 dollars. King City will also include a longevity stipend that will be offered on the 11th and 21st contracts with the school district. They will provide another $300 dollars on contracts offered after the 11th year with the district and $600 for contracts that are offered after the 21st year with the district.

King City board members agreed to continue to be part of MEUHP for health insurance.

The board plans to participate in an E-Rate program that will provide a 70 percent reimbursement for technical infrastructure.

The board will be receiving the specifications next week for roofing work that will be done this summer. The board also approved bids for restroom upgrades. Those bid awards included DS Painting for flooring, Simon Parsons for sheet rock, and Eckard’s for wall tiling.

King City’s summer school will be held from June 1st through June 18th.

The board renewed full time certified staff and hired Shea Miller and Rylee Wilkerson for upper elementary teaching jobs at King City.
