King City Council Approves Water And Sewer Rate Increases

King City’s Board of Aldermen approved an ordinance that increases water and sewer rates for the city during a meeting held on Monday night. The increases will amount to 5 percent.

Council members also approved a contract for software that will be compatible with King City’s new AMI metering system. An ordinance was also approved that will allow minimum billing for meters regarding of usage.

An agreement with United Fiber was also approved for technical support. The city is changing their service to United Fiber for their lagoon project.

Police Chief Jeremy Green also gave notice to the city council. His last day will be July 28th.
