King City Council Holds March Session
King City’s Board of Aldermen received a presentation from Shawn Horner of the King City Chamber of Commerce who updated plans which are in place by the King City Chamber for their new organizational structure. The presentation was part of a meeting held Monday night.
Council members also received a citizen’s concern regarding abandoned home, trash, and crime within the city. Two individuals exhibiting threatening behaviors when they have been inside city hall will be served a “No Trespassing” notice for the facility and grounds.
City council members approved the purchase of two sets of bleachers for the King City Ballpark. The purchase will be for $9,000 and will include 2 sets of 5 row bleachers which seat 105 spectators.
King City Lumber will be allowed to construct an addition which extended over grounds which include a sewer line if they sign a release to be responsible for the sewer line and pay for closing off the line.
Council members also agreed to reduce the price requested for a city truck and snowplow which has been posted for sale by the City of King City.
