King City Driver Seriously Injured In Ford City Accident

A King City driver was seriously injured following an accident Tuesday afternoon south of Ford City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 54 year old Rebecca Buckingham of King City was driving northbound on Route AA, 2 miles south of Ford City, and her vehicle went off the side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned. The vehicle landed on its top.

Buckingham was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph. Her vehicle was totaled.

The accident took place at 4:15 Tuesday afternoon.

The Gentry County Sheriff’s Department and the King City Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
