King City Pair Injured in Andrew County Crash Sunday Night

Two King City men suffered injuries in an Andrew County crash Sunday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 7:01 Sunday night on U.S. 169, almost two miles north of Avenue City, as 33-year-old Joshua L. Pike drove northbound.

Troopers say Pike went off the east side of the road, overcorrected, traveled off the west side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.

Pike and a passenger, an eight-year-old male, suffered minor and moderate injuries.

Authorities say only the juvenile wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
