KING CITY, MO – A grant from the Bayer Fund will allow the King City R-I School District to provide Coding to elementary students.

Any farmer is eligible to nominate their school for the America’s Farmers Grow Communities grant through the Bayer Fund. Every Missouri county receives a grant. Brad Law nominated the King City School District, which was given $5,000 for the Coding program.

Coding is instructions given to a computer using a language that computers can understand. Students will earn the basic concepts of programming through the grant.
