Kingston Teen Suffers Serious Injuries in Accident Near Polo

POLO, MO – A Kingston teen was injured in an accident Sunday evening in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the one-vehicle accident took place as a 17-year old male driver was northbound on Route D, 5 miles west of Polo when his vehicle went off the east side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and went off the west side of the roadway where he struck a tree.
The 17-year old was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
