Lake Viking Woman Injured in Snowy Daviess County Crash Monday

A Lake Viking, Missouri, woman suffered injuries in a Daviess County crash Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 3:10 Monday afternoon on Route DD, four miles west of Gallatin, as 63-year-old Annette M. Mathenia drove northbound.

Troopers say Mathenia lost control on the snowy road, went off the east side of Route DD, and overturned.

Mathenia suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Authorities say Mathenia did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
