Lamar Man Arrested On Drug and Driving Charges in Clinton County

A Lamar, Missouri man was arrested Monday evening on a series of drug and driving charges.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Lamar resident Deron A. Williams was arrested at 6:19 P.M. Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance in a jail, felony driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and was cited for failing to use a turn signal.

Williams was booked into the Clinton County jail on a 24-hour hold.
