Last Stage of I-35 Resurfacing to Begin Next Week

The last stage of a resurfacing project on Interstate 35 will require single-lane closures beginning next week.

Mo-Dot and contractors with Ideker, Inc. will close the driving lane for pier protection operations at Route PP, Route V and Route 116. Each location will take approximately one week to complete. The lane closure will remain in place around the clock.

Work will begin Monday, September 28 at Route PP. They expect to begin at Route V October 5 and at Route 116 on October 12.

One lane of I-35 in each direction is expected to remain open throughout the project with a 12-foot width restriction.

All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
