Lathrop Woman Injured in Buchanan County Crash This Morning

A Lathrop woman suffered injuries in a Buchanan County crash early this morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on U.S. 36, two miles east of Saint Joseph, as a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Kimberlee M. McGregor drove westbound.
Authorities say McGregor followed another westbound vehicle too closely and struck their rear bumper.
McGregor’s vehicle traveled off the road, struck a tree, overturned, traveled down an embankment, and came to a rest.
Troopers report McGregor suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph.
Authorities say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
