Lathrop Woman Injured in Clinton County Crash Monday

A Lathrop woman was injured in a Clinton County accident Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Highway 116, a mile east of Lathrop, when a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Abby L. Booth was heading eastbound.

Troopers say an oncoming westbound vehicle driven by 47-year-old Lathrop resident Lisa R. Shanks crossed the center line, traveled into the eastbound lane, and struck the driver’s side of Booth’s vehicle.

Booth was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

No injuries were listed for Shanks.

Authorities say Booth was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
