Lathrop Woman Injured In Rollover Accident Tuesday Morning

A Lathrop woman was left with minor injuries in a Tuesday morning rollover accident in Clay County.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 74-year-old Lathrop resident Carole N. Giacone was driving a 2007 Ford Ranger on Highway 33 at the intersection with Route CC at 10:50 A.M. Tuesday when she failed to negotiate a curve and the truck went off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Giacone was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered minor injuries. She was taken by Holt Fire to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
