Lawson Man Hurt in Ray County Wreck

A Lawson man was left with moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident Thursday in Ray County just before noon.

According to the accident report from Troop A of the Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Lawson resident Jake W. Ringer was driving a 2012 Toyota Scion on Ray County Route C north of County Road 130 when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2007 GMC Arcadia being driven by 45-year-old Richmond resident Donald R. Nichols.

The collision caused the GMC to overturn, but Nichols was uninjured in the accident. Ringer suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
