Lawson Woman Hurt in One Vehicle Crash

A Lawson woman was luckily left with just minor injuries after the vehicle she was traveling in went off road Monday morning hitting multiple items including a tree.

According to Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Lawson resident Timothy W. Green was driving a 2005 GMC Yukon on Ray County Route Y at 10:30 Monday morning when his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway. Once off road the Yukon struck an embankment and went airborne.

The vehicle then impacted the ground before hitting a mailbox, a horse trailer, a fence and finally a tree before coming to rest.

Green was wearing a seat belt and escaped injury. His passenger, 22-year-old Jessica L. Harris of Lawson, was also wearing a seat belt but suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Liberty Hospital by Ray County EMS.
