Leon 3-Year Old Child Dies In UTV Accident

A 3-year old child from Leon died from injuries sustained in a UTV accident Saturday morning near Garden Grove.

The Iowa State Patrol says 3-year-old Wyatt Moser was a passenger on a UTV that was being operated by an older minor and occupied by another older minor. Those riders dismounted the UTV, and the child moved into the driver’s seat, accelerated the UTV, and struck a parked 5th wheel trailer. The child died from injuries received in the accident. The accident took place just after 8:30 Saturday morning.
