Lexington Teen Suffers Serious Injuries in ATV Crash Sunday in Ray County

A 16-year-old Lexington teen suffered serious injuries in an ATV accident around 4:20 Sunday afternoon in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Morton Road, north of East 120th Street, as a 16-year-old male traveled north on a 2012 Honda Rancher.
Troopers say the teen crossed the center of the road, traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence, and ultimately ejected from the ATV.
The teen sought treatment at Children’s Mercy Hospital via Life Flight air ambulance.
