Liberty Man Injured in Platte County Crash Sunday

A Liberty man suffered injuries in a Platte County crash Sunday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 6:58 Sunday morning on I-435, at mile marker 21, as a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Brock D. Gorton headed northbound.

Troopers say Gorton traveled off the road, overcorrected, went off the road again, and overturned.

Gorton suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

Authorities say Gorton did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
