Liberty Woman Arrested in Assault Charge

A woman from Liberty was arrested with an assault charge Monday night.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 27-year-old Mary E. Harber at 11:05 pm in Clay County.

She was arrested for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and third-degree assault.

Harber was taken to the Clay County Detention Center for a 12-hour hold pending formal charges.
