Linn County Man Charged With More Than 30 Child Sex Felonies

A Linn County man has been charged with more than 30 child sex felonies.

Forker, Missouri resident 40-year-old Jason Jones has been charged with 24 counts of class A felony child molestation with a child under the age of 12, occurring between July 2011 and June 2013. He also is charged with seven counts of felony statutory rape involving a child under the age of 14 allegedly occurring between August 2013 and June 2016.

Jones is also facing three felony counts of rape or attempted rape, occurring in January and June of 2017 and October of 2019. Another charge from October 2019 is felony statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy with a person under 14 years of age.

A single class B misdemeanor charge of patronizing prostitution has also been filed against Jones.

Bond was denied to Jones at arraignment on May 14, but a bond hearing was scheduled for today (Wednesday, May 19) at 1 P.M.
