Linneus Resident Injured in Livingston County Crash Involving Deer

Troopers report a Linneus resident suffered injuries this morning in a Livingston County accident around 7:30 a.m.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route K, four miles west of Chula, as a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Kathi S. Tolly drove eastbound.

Authorities say a deer traveled into the path of Tolly’s vehicle and struck the driver’s side.

Tolly’s Chevrolet Impala then traveled off the south side of the road, struck an embankment, and came to a rest.

A Livingston County ambulance transported Tolly to Chillicothe’s Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers say Tolly was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
