Livingston County Announces Covid Booster Shot Clinics

If you were fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine before April 1st, the Livington County Health Center will be offering booster doses this Friday, October 1st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by appointment.

Those who are now eligible include:

  • people 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster;
  • people aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster;
  • people aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster;
  • people aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting (e.g. frontline medical workers, teachers, and first responders)

Missourians with an underlying medical condition are encouraged to speak with their healthcare provider about whether a booster shot is right for them.

You must wait the required 15 minutes after vaccination to be observed for serious side effects. Call 646-5506 to schedule your appointment for Friday’s clinic.

They have not received word or authorization on Moderna or J&J vaccine boosters. They will also host a clinic on Wednesday, October 13th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment.
