Livingston County authorities are seeking the public’s help in an animal abuse case in Wheeling.
Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says deputies responded to the 300 block of North Sheridan Street on October 13 in response to a pet Labrador being shot.
Reports say the animal escaped around 11:00 a.m. and later returned with the gunshot wound.
