Livingston County Authorities Seeking Tips In Wheel Theft

Authorities in Livingston County are seeking the public’s help in finding the person, or persons, that stole four wheels and tires off a pickup truck that had broken down near the junction of U.S. Highway 36 and Route K.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says on Monday, January 30 an individual reported to them a pickup had broken down at Highway 36 and Route K on Saturday the 28th. The owner reported having been by the vehicle at 1:30 P.M. Sunday and all was fine with the vehicle and they planned to have it towed on Monday.

However on Monday the owner of the vehicle discovered the truck had been jacked up and all four wheels and tires had been stolen.

Authorities are hopefully a passing motorist or someone from the area will have information that will help solve the case.
