Livingston County Motorcycle Theft

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in finding a pair of motorcycles that were stolen from private property this week.

The Livingston County Sheriff says an investigation was opened today (Thursday, May 20) into a burglary and theft from a residence in Wheeling. Authorities say unknown persons removed two racing motorcycles from the property in the 200 block of South Grant Street in Wheeling.

The motorcycles described as a 2021 Yamaha, blue in color, with the number “30” on the sides and front and a 2018 Yamaha, blue in color, with the number “38” on the sides and front.

Authorities believe the suspect, or suspects, pushed the motorcycles across a ball field to a location on South State Street where they were probably loaded onto a vehicle or trailer.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Livingston County Sheriff at 660-646-0515, dispatch at 660-646-2121 or submit a non-urgent crime tip through their website at www.livcoso.org.
