Local Resurfacing Projects Identified In New STIP Plan
The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program released by the Missouri Department of Transportation included some of the details and timelines for projects that are planned for the area.
According to the STIP, a pavement resurfacing project which includes a little over 33 miles for Route FF in Gentry, Harrison and Worth Counties, Routes U and J in Gentry and Worth Counties, Route NN in Harrison County, and Route Y in Worth County is being awarded this month. The work is budgeted at $2.46 million dollars.
119 miles of pavement resurfacing for Routes F, MM, T, and M in Harrison County, Routes U, JJ, D, C, and NN in Mercer County, Route M in Worth County, and Route NN, B, and C in Grundy County will be awarded in August at a cost of a little over $13 million dollars.
50 miles of pavement resurfacing which includes US 169 in DeKalb , Andrew, and Buchanan Counties, Route 48 in Andrew and Gentry Counties, Routes 59 and 45 in Buchanan County, and Route E in Andrew County will be awarded in November with a cost of $6.9 million dollars.
112 miles of pavement resurfacing for Routes FF, N, KK, EE, and BB in Putnam County, Routes BB, M, V, O, and U in Sullivan County, and Route CC in Linn County will be awarded in August. That projected cost is $12.2 million.
5 miles of US 71 Highway in Andrew County will receive pavement resurfacing in the southbound lane from Route B to Route 48. Work will also be done on various sections of the northbound lane in Andrew and Nodaway Counties from north of Route 59 to Route V in Maryville. That award it due in November. The cost will be $5.5 million dollars.
