Lt. Governor Says He Does Not Want Pro-Choice Question On Ballot

(Missourinet) Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe says he does not want a pro-choice question on next year’s election ballot.

Some Missouri Republicans have been fighting in court over the proposal – derailing the collection of petition signatures.

Kehoe, who is running for governor, says he would consider rape and incest exceptions to abortion if the Missouri legislature sends him a bill like that as governor.

Missouri’s abortion ban only has an exception for health emergencies of the mother.
