Ludlow Woman Charged with Threatening to Kill Child in Jamesport
JAMESPORT, MO – A Ludlow woman is wanted on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Kidnapping in Daviess County.
According to a probable cause affidavit officers were called on Wednesday to Jamesport on a report that 33-year old Kayla Bower had threatened to kill a minor child family member with a tire changing tool in an attempt to make the child confess to being demonically possessed. It is alleged that Bowers refused to let the child out of the vehicle during the incident.
Daviess County authorities filed charges on Thursday at which time a warrant was issued for Bower’s arrest.
At the time of the allegations, Bower was out on bond on a Livingston County charge of endangering the welfare of a child. In that case, Bower is alleged to have left her minor son in a vehicle while she was in a drug-induced state.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says Bower has no permanent address and resides in a camper. The warrant for her arrest is still active.
