Luetkemeyer Discusses Israel Aid Bill, Which Doesn’t Include Aid for Ukraine

The Republican-controlled U.S. House wants to send military aid to Israel.

A 14-point-3-billion-dollar military aid package passed the House late last week to help Israeli forces as they fight against Hamas terrorists based in Gaza.

Eastern Missouri Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer says the bill does NOT contain aid for Ukraine.

Luetkemeyer expects a separate Ukraine bill to be tied to a bill addressing security at the U.S. southern border.

The House’s Israel measure faces a tough path in the Senate because it lacks Ukraine aid, doesn’t include humanitarian aid for civilians, but does include cuts to the IRS for enforcement and a free filing program for low-income taxpayers.
